I.T. Strategy / N.D.A. Briefing 2008
Southern event 26th February, Northern event 28th February 2008
9:30 Registration for 10:00 Start
If
you are reviewing your IT strategy for 2008 / 2009, then recent
announcements and acquisitions made by Citrix, Microsoft and
VMware are probably high on your list of things to consider.
With new and competing products and strategies around
virtualisation and application delivery the “Agile Enterprise”
has never been more relevant and achievable, but which vendors
offer the most compelling long-term proposition?
Following the recent Citrix Solutions Summit in Florida,
Centralis is holding two NDA briefings (on 26th and 28th
February 2008) to cover the latest news, product roadmaps and
directions, with an independent view by the only UK partner
certified at the highest level by Citrix, Microsoft, VMware,
WYSE and
Thinstall.
Featuring presentations by speakers
from Citrix, Microsoft, AppSense and
Centralis, we will cover:
- Options for application delivery and virtualisation
- Competing virtual desktop / VDI solutions
- Creating the dynamic datacenter / automating datacentre
workflow
- Maintaining user experience and personalisation in a
complex environment
- New reporting and monitoring tools to help SLA and KPI
reporting
Included in the session will be a demonstration of the latest
technologies in an end-to-end showcase solution featuring:
- XenDesktop - Delivering virtual desktops via the latest
broker
- Provisioning - Delivering fully configured
servers and desktops on demand
- Application Streaming - One application install for all
users across multiple platforms
- Profile Management - Balancing increased flexibility
with improved login speeds
The event will show how flagship products from these leading
vendors can be brought together into a new and dynamic solution
that offers a much improved ROI over conventional deployments.
The briefing concludes with a Q&A session followed by lunch allowing delegates to discuss areas
of particular interest and share information and experience both
formally and informally.
