"Everyone was very impressed by the
progress Centralis has made over the last year in
developing a working infrastructure model combining
conditional access with virtual desktops and application
streaming.
It was particularly useful to see
the disparate products coming together into a logical
and clear operating model."

Architect, Standard Life plc

"In Butler Group’s opinion
Centralis presents an impressive offering that is likely
to have a significant impact on streamlined
implementation and on ensuring that the TCO and
flexibility benefits of application and desktop
virtualisation (VDI) are realised."

23rd, 24th & 25th March 2010 - Harrogate, London &
Bristol
Following on from our Desktop Strategy events
in February 2010, this Centralis workshop looks in detail at how
one of the options, virtualised desktops, works in practice.
-
How do you plan, design
and scale your virtual desktop deployment?
-
Can you use a single
image for all your virtual desktops?
-
Should you use
application streaming?
-
How can you minimise
storage costs?
-
What happens to users
who swap between virtual and physical environments?
-
How do you benchmark
and measure key performance statistics such as login times?
The workshops will look at
these issues from a practical perspective, examining how
desktops can be delivered as an on-demand service to the
organisation.
It will also look at how
Centralis customers have deployed and used desktop as a service
to decrease costs and improve agility.
As an example, here’s some coverage of our recent work with the
NHS to deliver shared services:
Dudley PCT goes virtual on desktops.
If you want to find out
how to make your desktop strategy more agile this year, this is
the workshop with the answers.
Please
Register
early as places for our seminars are limited.
Centralis seminars are free of charge for UK end-user
organisations across the public and private sectors.
