Centralis launch licensing service

To recognise the new partnerships signed in 2006, Centralis has launched a dedicated licensing service. The service will be staffed by qualified Citrix sales professionals and is backed by close links with two of the leading UK software distributors.

Available via the service will be new license purchases, evaluation software and subscription renewals, all at highly competitive rates. The service will cover a number of major software vendors, including Citrix, VMware, Scriptlogic, Macrovision, AppSense and WYSE. Selected hardware can also be purchased through the service, including Citrix Access Gateways™, NetScalers and WYSE terminals.

Rugby Football Union adopts Citrix Access Solution

The RFU has worked with Centralis to implement its Elite Player Analysis System (EPAS) on Citrix Presentation Server™ 4.0.

The EPAS system, which includes player’s electronic medical records and information on their fitness and development tracking, is now being delivered to all England rugby academies, premiership rugby clubs and centrally at the RFU’s headquarters at Twickenham. “By migrating to Presentation Server 4.0 we have increased the number of users that can access EPAS at any one time, dramatically improved session reliability and resolved all the printing issues.” Mike Morris, RFU.
