Government
The government sector is a demanding one, with a strong
emphasis on delivering value for money and Centralis is
proud of an excellent rating (see below) in our customer
satisfaction surveys across government accounts. Our
local and central government portfolio has increased
significantly over the last few years. This growth has
been driven by higher investment in Information Technology
and in particular by interest in flexible access solutions.
In the
UK,
our central government customer portfolio includes the
Houses of Parliament, and our local government customers
include
Leeds
City Council,
Surrey County Council,
Solihull Metropolitan
Council,
Elmbridge Borough Council,
Horsham District
Council, Wealden
District Council and
Mid Sussex District Council.
In
Scotland,
Centralis has provided Citrix solutions for
Fife
and South Ayrshire Councils.
Within
the police service, our customers include
Cambridgeshire
Constabulary,
Northamptonshire Police and
Thames Valley Constabulary.
Many of our projects in this sector have been based on
secure delivery of applications using Citrix technology,
allowing government customers to extend the reach of their
systems to home-based and remote workers. Citrix has also
played a strong role in strategic application delivery,
allowing standard applications to be delivered across
varying standards of departmental desktops.

"We
were extremely impressed with the professionalism
that the Centralis consultants showed, the depth of
knowledge they had of Citrix… and the level of
expertise they showed in executing the phases of the
installation."
Chris Bulley, Systems Support Officer, Mid
Sussex District Council |

"“We
recognised that our desktop strategy was becoming
unwieldy and out-of-date and we needed to ensure
that application upgrade and management costs didn’t
escalate. Operating across 300 sites, we also needed
a greater degree of flexibility." Peter Sullivan,
Technical Architect, Surrey County Council |
