Cuts Citrix Farm Management Down to Size
Centralis Harvester 4.5 gives Citrix administrators and support staff a unique set of tools to gather and analyse information, create standard and one-off reports and carry out global changes in a single operation.
Now certified as "Citrix Ready" Harvester 4.5 comes in two editions; Farm Auditor and Farm Administrator. The Administrator is a uniquely powerful tool which automates many of the time-consuming tasks associated with Citrix farm management and presents them in a simple, easy to use interface. For the first time it enables the farm manager to change a setting (e.g. screen resolution) across every published application - and produce a compliance report to prove it was successful.
The Auditor allows support staff to interrogate detailed information about every server and published application into CSV or HTML reports, but does not permit them to make changes.
Neither product relies on installation, agents or clients on the Citrix XenApp / Presentation Servers, and a 30 day evaluation copy is available for download. More...

Free Citrix utility software enabling safer reboots for Citrix servers
In Citrix environments, many of which are available to users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it is often difficult for administrators to perform regular reboots of the Citrix Servers to relieve instability issues caused by application memory leaks etc.
Even if there are only a few 'night-owls' accessing the Citrix solution in the twilight hours, potentially one or more Citrix Servers will have users logged in, and therefore can’t be safely rebooted.
Centralis Centinel is a Citrix utility giving administrators an automated check prior to a scheduled reboot on whether users are logged into each Citrix Server. Only if there are no users logged into the Citrix Server will the reboot be performed. More...
